Jigging Club

Welcome to a new year!

2018/2019 has brought about many changes to our club. Troy Parenteau has moved to a new position so, is not actively involved in our club.

Bonny Johnson is the senior dance instructor while Alicia Vandale teaches the junior dancers. Megan Walsh will continue to support all dancers as they learn the dances. We would like welcome Jolene Generoux as another needed support to our club.

We are practicing weekly and enjoying the new square dances we aqre learning as well as our continued focus on the Red River Jig and it’s variations.

We have been out in the community a number of times already this year. We are always honored to dance for our Metis Veterans, we have been invited back to dance for Tapestrama and we even went to Spalding, Saskatchewan for their day of  cultural celebrations.

It has been a highlight to be invited to dance at the Junior World Curling Championships this February.

Look for us out in our community sharing our fast and fancy feet.
